Flat stimi button

The "stimi" button sits at the top of the jacket, and one pair of "stimi" buttons is used for each costume. More "stimi" buttons can be used - both at the bottom and at the top of the jacket.

Our buttons are made of 925 sterling silver and handmade in our workshop in Tórshavn.

The silver for the men's costume:

• Waistcoat: 7 waistcoat buttons.
• Jacket: 24 jacket buttons and a pair of "stimi" buttons. (More "stimi" buttons can be used, both at the top and at the bottom of the jacket).
• Trousers, at the top: 4 jacket buttons and one trouser button (kvarðaknappur).
• Knees: 2x5 waistcoat buttons, or 2x3 waistcoat buttons and a trouser buckle.
