This new watch is based on a classic digital watch design from 1982 known as the Rotocall. This famous watch had a distinctive octagonal rotating ring that changed how users switched functions: they simply turned the ring (bezel). The distinctive design, together with the watch's popularity among astronauts, has earned it wide international recognition.
